Mom’s moving in! The newest trend in homebuilding seems to be multi-generational living. This fun family consists of mom, dad, pre-teen, newborn plus grandma and we loved designing and building a home specifically around their family’s dynamic. First our OklaHome Real Estate Team located the perfect 28 partially wooded acres in Piedmont. Then Rob Allen designed a beautiful modern farmhouse with an attached mother-in-law suite – complete with it’s own private kitchen, entrance and garage. From the white siding exterior, black trim and huge front porch to the sweeping views of trees, farmland and the family’s vintage farm truck, this home looks like it stepped right out of the turn-of-the-century. We even repurposed several vintage doors that were saved from an estate sale at the homeowner’s Grandfather’s New Mexico farmhouse.
